Synchronicity Announces Integrated Collaborative Design Solution With Mentor Graphics for the HDL Market
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 19, 2001--Synchronicity,
Inc., a leader in web-based design collaboration solutions, today
announced the immediate availability of an interface between Mentor
Graphics new HDL Designer Series(TM) and DesignSync®,
Synchronicity's multi-site design management software.
With design projects becoming ever larger and more complex, many
HDL development efforts now involve multiple sites and some even
multiple companies. Managing the design process for these projects has
become increasingly difficult. Using Synchronicity's internet-based
solutions, designers now can work more efficiently and overcome
barriers that have previously hindered productivity and innovation.
The new integrated interface is the initial result of Mentor's
participation in Synchronicity's Network Effect Partner Program.
Mentor is a charter member of the program, which includes nine other
partners working to create collaborative design processes encompassing
the complete SoC design flow.
